Remove Negative Commenters in Advance with Import/Export Scripts

It’s no secret that if the comments to our ad contain “truth tellers” and other annoying individuals, then in addition to hiding/deleting the comment itself, we can deny its author access to our fan page:

We can view all these personalities by going toFan page settingsand select item"Privacy" - "Blocking" - "Block Users", click on the “Edit” button, then look"See your blocked list":

If you sell approximately the same sub-vertical: say, toys for children, then you can often notice that people come to you and comment on the same things! How can we make sure that when creating a fan page, we IMMEDIATELY deny access to these comrades, plus not spend money on showing them our advertising?

Let’s figure it out. So, I assume that you have been pouring traffic for some time and blocking people you don’t like, so you have a certain number of users on your blocked list. Let’s upload the list of users to a text file! First of allgo to Ads Manager, open the browser console andput the following script there.

Here, in the drop-down menu, you need to select the FP that interests us and click Export. Below in the log we will see that the script switched to the FP profile, found all blocked users, after which it switched back to the main profile and created a text file. Export completed!

Now let’s move to another account, create a fp there from scratch, after whichwe run the same script. Or we simply select another FPS from the drop-down list on the same account where we were.

Next, click the Import button and select the file with the IDs of blocked users. The script will add users to the block, after which it will display a message in the log that everything has been imported.

ATTENTION: if you have hundreds or thousands of users that you need to block, the process will take some time. The script adds users to the block in batches, 100 people at a time. One block request takes a few seconds, so be patient and watch.

To check the result, go to your FP in the list of blocked ones and see all our “comrades«! Bingo.

In this simple way, we cut off the pre-nagative audience and add to our advantage, without worrying about what they will say crap in the comments.

Another plus: since users are blocked, they can’t seenoFP content, including ADVERTISING. That is, we will not spend our $$$ on showing ads to those who are negatively disposed towards us in advance and will hide ads, complain and in every possible way interfere with our advertising.
