Protect Prelanders from Downloads and Steal Traffic Back

You sat there, suffered, and created the most amazing prelander on your knee! Having broken through — 99.9%, conversion goes off scale. It’s clear that this won’t save you from all sorts of WGets and other software for downloading, but at least it will puzzle you. And every additional hour of brainstorming is your additional profit!

Wellsecond simple scriptwhich will add some “free” traffic to you: save it for yourself and replace YOUR_URL_GOES_HERE with a link to your landing page. This script will come into force when an enemy copies your script, changes all the links in it to his own, uploads it to hishostingand start traffic. He’s sitting like this, which means he’s waiting for leads… noooo! Surprise, motherfucker! As soon as the user enters the pad, our script replaces ALL links on this pad back to your original one.

On a good note, it would be nice to add a check to this script about where the user came from. Like: if the referrer is from Facebook, then we change all the links. And if it’s from somewhere else, then we’ll hide and wait) This way there will be much less fuss if the thief still decides to check the entire funnel with his setups. What else can be done to make this pair of scripts not look so bad? There are a few additional ideas:

1. We put these two scripts somewhere in a legitimate third-party js file. For example, jquery.js is often used on prelands; we take these and copy-paste the scripts to the very end or somewhere in the middle of JQuery. Just follow the syntax and check if it works!!!
2. Before connecting scripts, we run them through an obfuscator — software that will make the text of the script almost unreadable and difficult to understand, but will leave the script itself operational!
