- Download any site;
- Quickly restore any sites from Wayback Machine (aka Webarchive);
- Edit downloaded or restored content both as code and in visual WYSIWYG mode.
Where might we need it?
The options are as follows:
- Quick creation of whites. You can, for example, take a drop-domain, download all of its content from the web archive, and deploy it as if the site were still exactly as it was. Which, in theory, will slightly raise your domain's traffic.
- If you are not good with HTML, and you need to fix the text or pictures on the tabs or ribbons, you can do all this directly within the CMS-ki.
- To write a multi-page Whitewhich cannot be done by conventional means tracker Keitaro.
Downloading sites and restoring from Webarchive
Let's take a quick run through these two functions, since there's not much to explain. Here's what restoring content from the Web Archive looks like:
All you have to do here is specify a domain and click on the right-hand side of the page to configure the settings you want, which by default are also set quite intelligently.
The most important thing here is that tracking scripts and any advertising, if any, will be removed from the restored content. After you clicked "Restore", in a few minutes you will get an email with the number of pages in the selected site, if their number is less than 200, you can restore such a site for free, but if not, you will have to pay a little!
Approximately the same settings (and the limit of 200 free pages) will be for downloading sites, but in order to use this feature, you will first need to register on the site.
There are even rudimentary cloaking settings: you can specify a left referrer. But for pumping Geo-protected procles (and this is 99.9% of the market) It won't do. But for the sites of all sorts of cafes, pizzerias, gyms and medical centers under the Vytes - that's what you need!
Here is an example of the downloaded website of the Amsterdam coffee-shop: you can download and expand in tracker ready-made archive, but it is much more interesting to use Archivarix CMS, about which a little bit below.
First of all, download the zip-archive with the CMS-ka:
In order to download the archive to KeitaroYou'll need to start with Rename the php-file in this archive to index.php. After the archive is downloaded and created White-lending, creating a campaign, Bind any domain to it on the Domains tab tracker. The domain of your choice has Make sure to redirect all 404 errors to the campaign, as in the screenshot below.
The red highlighted the piece, because of which we just configured the processing of 404 errors on our domain. Thus, the Archivarix CMS script will start processing these very errors, which will load the necessary content.
Now we begin to unfold the one we want White. Here we have two options: upload your zip-archive or use the site already downloaded with Archivarix. For the second option, just copy the site ID, which you can find in your account here:
In the next step, all you have to do is click "Start Installation".
Then we get to the main screen of the CMS-ki, the installation is complete. Now just go to the address of our domain again - and you will see the White. In this case, if the donor site was chosen successfully, will work correctly all the necessary links, ie. White will be multi-page. Which is exactly what we wanted!
P.S. The bad thing about this is that after you have deployed some site on Archivarix in your trackerat Go to Styles go, pictures disappear, scripts die. There's not much you can do, you took a donor site that is too crafty) Take something simpler if you care about the visual component, and I often just spit on it and run as is.
P.P.S. I did not describe all the various functions of CMS-ki, because the creators made an hour-long video especially for this: there you will see how to edit downloaded sites and do all sorts of things with them.
